A Spark of New Knowledge: The Fourth Quarter

            

            It’s almost done, another school year would finally be over soon. I am excited to spend my time doing my hobbies at home and spending time with my family and friends. This fourth quarter, I am thankful that I have seen my classmates and teachers because I know some of my schoolmates wouldn’t stay at Ilocos Sur National High School for Senior High School. At least I have enjoyed spending time with them in every class and dance practices. Fourth quarter is very tiring and there are some problems and challenges I had to face, but I knew I could get through them with determination and hard work. I have learned a lot not only in this subject ICT but in other subjects as well.

          Instead of manually typing in HTML codes, I have learned that it is way easier to use Microsoft FrontPage. I love how it is like Microsoft Word, so I found it easy to make my webpages. I’ve had loads of fun exploring FrontPage as well as constructing a webpage for my community based research. I also enjoyed helping my friends and spending time with them in the computer lab with our ICT teacher. I am sure the lessons I have learned this quarter will be extremely helpful in the future.

          Even if I had fun with Microsoft FrontPage, I still had to go through some minor challenges and problems. Of course, most of the class was new and unfamiliar with Microsoft FrontPage, so it had me struggling at some parts of making the web page. It’s a bit difficult adjusting pictures at first, but I’ve researched in the internet to help me. The making of blogs is also a bit challenging, but I’ve loved the theme of the four blogs we’ve done. I’ve also entertained myself reading other’s blogs and commenting. There might be some other problems that I have faced that I do not recall, but all I had to do to get through them is to work hard, move forward, take breaks and believe in myself. I also appreciate my classmates, friends and teacher for helping me. 

          Before I reach the conclusion, I would like to take this chance to thank our ICT teacher for guiding and educating us. I really appreciate your hard work, Ma’am! Also to my schoolmates, whether you stay at our school for Senior High or not, I wish you all good luck! 

          Moving on, I will continue to study hard in the future and do my best to reach my goals. I am looking forward for vacation and I hope everyone else does, too. Just because the last quarter of this school year is about to end, doesn’t mean my journey is done. I will continue to move forward and I will be forever grateful for the teachers who have been with us and for having such wonderful schoolmates.
