Duterte – Man Who Proves Himself to People

Beloved President Duterte,

          Warmest greetings in this day ahead!

          I was just a kid who knows nothing when your name came into national politics way back year 2016. I heard so many things about you and your leadership from the television and hearsays of older people that surrounds me. Many had evidently rooted for you because of their perception on your past leadership, they thought that are different from the past leaders of our nation.

          I research about you and I had found out a lot. You had mentioned bad words on national TV. Many are against you but you proved your direction and will. I found out that your plans are promising and turned into reality. The Philippines a tale end.

          As a young kid with little knowledge of everything, I acted ignorant on the things I had heard. “Little learning is dangerous”, they say. And yes, I was not even interested on your promises, when you were still running for presidency. As years passed by, my mind added curiosity about you and your leaderships. Your way of addressing the nation’s situation is overwhelming. Drugs, poverty and politics became suicidal. I have monitored how you handle those that our country had faced and are still facing. Your decisions were justifiable, you had actions that lead to consequences.

          When the COVID – 19 pandemic invaded our lives, hope grew into our heart. You addressed it will despite that your health became at risk too. Many had lost their belief in you. Despite of these, I still kept my respect and belief on how you lead out nation. Aside from these situations, we faced numerous trials that you promptly addressed. There, I had seen that many people are crying and praying for the Philippines. As a young netizen, I was affected of those scenarios that became others dark and trying times.

          It may be difficult at your age Mr. President, but I believe that millions of Filipinos are expecting you to fulfill your dreams to our nation. I respect you and I will be proud of you. Maybe you had turned down many people because of your sharp tongue, but without exemption you have a soft heart, a tough soul and sharp mind.

          Thank you for every single thing Mr. President. I hope you will finish your turn with flying colors even along your way was so gloomy and dark. Keep your promises Mr. President. I know that you love your country and your people and you want what’s best for us. I am proud of you.
